The beginning of a Long and Terrible Storm | Blog Post #14
As previously mentioned the film will take place on the same lot as the previous year's film. The film will be done on location in Zephyrhills, Florida. I have full permission to use this location as my family owns the location. This is a 4,613.416 m² piece of land with a mobile home that is over 30 years old. As a result, I will have plenty of space to film a variety of shots.
I will be using this one location due to its variety of structures and land types. There is plenty of foliage and under growth near the trees. There is also an area which is rocky and has a mixture of sand and dirt. Along with permission to enter the mobile home; there will be plenty of opportunities to film on a single location. The beaten and abandoned look helps with the poorer background of the protagonist and supports the protagonist's situation quite well.
The times of day that will be used for this shot will be noon, afternoon, and evening. This will be used to depict an entire day's work for the protagonist. Noon will be used to show the arrival of the character. Afternoon will be used to depict when the character leaves the property. Lastly, evening will be used to show how the character acts after work hours. Of course this is all subject to change especially if new ideas arise during production.
The largest issues that can occur in this project is malfunction of filming equipment along with loss of time. If the equipment for filming fails, then it could result in a slow down in production resulting in loss of time for post production as well. This time period can be minimized due to loss of time significantly rushing pace of work which can lead to errors. Corruption of video files could result in further setbacks in time.
So my wonderful audience, lets bare with me and hope our luck with cheap camera equipment doesn't run out!
