The Calm Before the Coming Storm Part 1 | Blog Post #9

 SO IT SEEMS ALL IS WELL RIGHT?! 

You would be correct... for now. At the moment we have our idea of our protagonist in isolation fighting against manipulated bullying. However, that is about all we have. So as this post is so cleverly named, we must prepare for the coming of the storm. The storm being production period. 

So one of the most important parts of production is a location. Now i have a couple of thoughts running through my head. And it comes back to one place. You guessed it, the previous filming location as for the previous film. Now you may be wondering as to why? Well in my story board (release coming soon), it depicts the use of  the character walking through areas near rubble or not very well cleaned. It just so happens that there is a gas station with road construction next to it near the location we previously used. I also would like the use of a dingy run down building for filming inside of to be the home of the protagonist. Well my family owns one such place on our plot of land.

As of writing this blog i thought up this location, and while i admit that is quite unprofessional of me, it is also cost effective. The idea before this one was costly. Exceedingly costly. As i take steps towards adult life i have gotten a job, created new relationships, and even get a bank account. So for such a dingy place of a home i was going to get a cheap motel room. And for run down areas, i would have gone to down town Tampa. With today's ever increasing costs in gasoline and residence, well these long trips and far away locations would turn out with price tags in the hundreds. 

Now that we have our location done we can turn our attention to other topics. Unlike last year, I am equipped with camera equipment. I am equipped with a drivers license. And last but not least, i have a better sense of style. In the next post, we we will discuss costuming and what it could possibly look like.
