The Hiccups | Blog Post #22
At the time of this writing, I am currently hiccuping (I feel like that's an appropriate use of the word). Not in the film, well actually, kinda. But I mean as I am writing I have the hiccups. Saying that though this pestering inconvenience actually brought about an idea. As we first discussed, our protagonist is under the influence of the antagonists before he fights for what is right. Of course, I suddenly realized perhaps I should display to the audience the crimes he has committed.
So I had this idea, what if now hear me out, our protagonist had held someone at knifepoint and taken their keys from them. Now you might be wondering just their keys? Nope, their keys and their car. So we have a quick action-packed sequence that displays the crimes the protagonists are doing for the antagonist. Now there are a couple problems with this, first, what are we doing for props and clothes, and do we have a location for this. The answer is Yes and Yes.
For props and clothes, our clothes won't be different at all except for one new piece of apparel. Drum roll, please! I believe a ski mask would do well to hide the identity of the protagonist as all robbers should. Additionally, since this is a mugging, I'm debating whether we use a gun or a knife. NOW HOLD ON! Before you go wild at those two suggestions, I would like to reveal that I have a 3d printer, specifically the Longer LK5 Pro (seen below). I use a 3D printing software called Cura.
